  14. Fencing will not be implemented in time for 3.0i. We are not
  15. comfortable with how we decided to implement this feature in
  16. the original 3.0 design, and will probably rethink it. So

  26. their clip art in CMX format.

  30. PageStream for Macintosh already supports MM fonts because
  31. font handling is done at the system level on the Macintosh.
  32. (Well, in ATM actually.) PageStream for Windows will have the
  33. same support. If AT ever adds support for MM fonts to the
  34. AmigaOS, we would be more than happy to support it. Until that
  35. time, we have no intention of supporting MM fonts on the Amiga.
  36. (It's not like adding support for just another outline font
  37. format.)

  47. We intend to add this as a feature in a future upgrade. (Perhaps
  48. something like Manual (Portrait, Landscape, Reverse Landscape) and

  63. PostScript can only do halftone, no Floyd-Steinberg or Ordered
  64. dithers.

  66. PostScript is resolution independent. The picture can't be
  67. dithered prior to sending the data because PageStream doesn't know
  68. what resolution the printer will print at, and thus could not
  69. properly scale and dither the picture prior to sending the
  70. data.

  72. PageStream 3.0's halftone non-PostScript output is definitely
  73. superior to 2.2's halftone non-PostScript output. It is also
  74. capable of more shades of gray, depending on your printer's
  75. resolution. The color output is dramatically better.
