- Fencing will not be implemented in time for 3.0i. We are not
- comfortable with how we decided to implement this feature in
- the original 3.0 design, and will probably rethink it. So
- unfortunately, it won't be worked on immediately.

- Corel will not give other developers the CDR file format and
- we don't currently have time to figure it out, so it's unlikely
- that we will support it in the near future. Corel does provide
- (sell ;-) their exchange format to developers (CMX I think). We
- may add support for this next year. I believe Corel distributes
- their clip art in CMX format.

- PageStream for Macintosh already supports MM fonts because
- font handling is done at the system level on the Macintosh.
- (Well, in ATM actually.) PageStream for Windows will have the
- same support. If AT ever adds support for MM fonts to the
- AmigaOS, we would be more than happy to support it. Until that
- time, we have no intention of supporting MM fonts on the Amiga.
- (It's not like adding support for just another outline font
- format.)

- We intend to add this as a feature in a future upgrade. (Perhaps
- something like Manual (Portrait, Landscape, Reverse Landscape) and
- Auto.

-
- PostScript can only do halftone, no Floyd-Steinberg or Ordered
- dithers.
-
- PostScript is resolution independent. The picture can't be
- dithered prior to sending the data because PageStream doesn't know
- what resolution the printer will print at, and thus could not
- properly scale and dither the picture prior to sending the
- data.
-
- PageStream 3.0's halftone non-PostScript output is definitely
- superior to 2.2's halftone non-PostScript output. It is also
- capable of more shades of gray, depending on your printer's
- resolution. The color output is dramatically better.
